Genuine community is about strong personal relationships. The relationships build upon the honest interest and concern each community member holds for the others in that community. When people within the community grow in concern for one another in all aspects of life - business, personal or spiritual - life as a whole becomes easier and richer. Each person is helping and being helped be the others to meet their individual needs. The results can be astounding. In business, when we help each other find and discover new business, each of us suddenly has more time to devote to the "business" of our business. Expanding community into our personal and spiritual lives allows our lives to take on a new simplicity, meaning and purpose. We have all heard it at one time or another, when you help enough other people get what they want, you too will get what you want. When we apply community from a Christian perspective, we honor God and one another. We encourage the sacredness within one another to pour out into the lives of the community. Genuine Christian Community is life-changing. Scripture call us as followers of God and Jesus Christ, to be in community with one another and with God. This community extends from Sunday morning into the workplace on Monday and continues throughout the week. Sunday worship in our respective communities of faith encourages us and strengthens us to go out and actually live lives as Ambassadors of Jesus Christ in the world, especially the world of business. Genuine Christian Community as described in the Holy Bible, is a reflection of our faith to be practiced in real life. According to Scripture, when we live our faith in all aspects of our life, we create genuine Christian Community. Genuine Christian Community is our rehersal for the community we will experience for eternity. Genuine Christian Community is:
Genuine Christian Community creates amazing security and power: the security and power that only unity with God and one another can provide. We all remember Jabez. He loved and feared God. God saw Jabez as a righteous man. Jabez prayed that God would bless him and expand his territories. Only God determines our blessings and our territories. However, through our service and commitment to God and to one another, our blessings and territories will grow beyond what we can ever imagine.
